If you’re switching between multiple Windows 10 machines, that includes your Windows desktop, tablet or phone, setting the right language preferences in Windows can be a pain. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to do so.
As a web developer, I am constantly looking for the latest and greatest ways to use technology to do my work. Since Windows 8, Windows has included the modern language settings options that allow you to change from US English to UK English, while other countries have their own choice. This is great for some, but not all. For those living in the US, the English language settings is already set to the US. So if you want to change to a language other than English, you need to go to the control panel and change from English to your desired language.

How do I change the language on my Windows 11 computer?
1. Directly from the taskbar
Don’t think you have to spend a lot of time changing basic settings like brightness or language.
In fact, in Windows 11, Microsoft has greatly simplified the configuration of some basic settings. There are two ways to change the language of your operating system.
First click on the Language button at the bottom right of the taskbar and simply select the language you want to switch to.
This menu allows you to quickly switch between the most commonly used languages or select language settings, taking you to the Settings menu.
2. In the Settings menu
Another way to change the language settings is to open the main settings menu of your computer. To do this, just press the key combination Windows key + I, the command will automatically call the desired menu.
The next step is to select the desired category, in this case Time and Language.
Once you have chosen the time and language, click on the Language tab in the left menu. You can now choose your preferred language or add a new language pack if your preferred language is not available.
Once you have made the necessary changes, simply close the settings menu window and continue with your activity. It’s not that hard, is it?
Reminder: Microsoft has announced that starting next week, early previews of the new operating system will be available for all Windows Insiders to test.
