- Since Microsoft announced Windows 11, TPM support has been a major concern for users.
- The TPM 2.0 security chips are one of the main system requirements to run the new operating system.
- Taiwanese company Biostar has announced motherboards that support Windows 11.
- In this article you will find a list of Intel and AMD series motherboards manufactured by the Taiwanese company.
Ever since Microsoft announced its new operating system, everyone has been talking about a smooth transition to the new system.
To do this and run Windows 11 on your device, it must support the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which can provide and enforce system security.
These motherboards support Microsoft’s new operating system
After all the hype that Microsoft created after the official announcement of its new flagship operating system, some companies decided to take up the challenge and release products that are compatible with Windows 11.
Taiwan-based Biostar Microtech International Corp. recently announced that it has developed hardware upgrades that will be useful for users who want to run Windows 11 on their computers.
A list of motherboards that support the TPM version 2.0 chip and Secure Boot for easy and convenient installation of Windows 11 has already been released.
As a result, users who own one of the following motherboards listed in Biostar’s recent support update list can now use the default BIOS settings to upgrade the operating system directly to Windows 11 without making any changes.
As you may recall, TPM security chips are an important part of Microsoft’s list of requirements to run the new operating system.
Since the technology company’s initial announcement, these TPM chips have become more expensive and increasingly difficult to find.
The Redmond-based tech giant also said that some systems will be able to run Windows 11 even if they don’t meet this key requirement.
In addition, Microsoft recently shared another important piece of information about this whole TPM issue with the public. Apparently Windows 11 comes with a new additional TPM diagnostic tool.
With the above tool, all administrators can now query the TPM chip for stored information.
